Our wonderful Art teacher Ms. Paige Colwell has been named our 2018-2019 Teacher of the Year! We are very proud of Ms. Colwell! She deserves all the accolades she gets!

Paige Colwell graduated from Memphis College of Art with a BFA in Illustration. She has worked as an in-house designer, gallery administrator and owned and operated a screen printing company. Paige taught in the community and did private lessons for two years before going into public school. Her focus is on drawing foundations and painting. She believes that we all have the instinct to create, it just needs to be nurtured. Paige’s first year teaching at McKinley Middle was the 2017 - 2018 school year.
